The Great Remembrance
On April 2nd, 1917, President Woodrow Wilson called for Congress to send troops into Europe. America officially entered World War 1. After years of waiting on the side lines, hesitant to enter the the war and spill American Blood. IT was bound to happen eventually, especially because of multiple incidents with German forces in the Atlantic Ocean, as well as south America. Today is a remembrance for those who lost their lives fighting for their country.
