Jaguars Finally Win Over the Raiders
Even after a rough first half, the jags being 2-6, were able to come away with the win on Sunday against the Raiders, ending their 4 game losing streak. News4jax.com states, “The Jaguars stopped two Raiders drives in the final quarter before appearing like they were going to put them away”. The Jags ended up beating the raiders 27-20, after only allowing a field goal in the second half from them.
However, the first half was a rough start for the Jags. “The Raiders got an early lead of 17-0, picking the jags apart”(cbssports.com). Doug Pederson, the head coach of the Jaguars, hopes to bounce back from their losing streak, and create a winning one. Even though they have some really rough competition on Sunday, The Kansas City Chiefs. Their record this season is 6-2, while the jags are 3-6. The Jags aren’t going to let these stats block them from taking the win Sunday and many more Sundays in the future as well.
