Apple and Android; a friendship in the making
Picture this, you just got assigned a group project in your history class and need to exchange numbers with your new assigned partners. One of your partners has the great idea; “Let’s facetime tonight to finish the assignment!”. Since it sounds like such a promising idea, you create a group chat excited to work on the project later tonight, but suddenly realize someone in the group has an android! Forget facetiming tonight since android and apple just cannot seem to happily co-exist.
Well, you are in luck, apple has just announced that next year they will be working to be more versatile for their compatibility with other tech companies, and will be transferring to RCS, a form of communication which would enable things such as read receipts between different tech industries. In the past Apple has long rejected this idea, so this development will be one of the first of its kind in facilitating easier communication among diverse companies. So, in the near future, it looks like you no longer must roll your eyes at the android phone, but can happily facetime and get that A.
