Bass Pro Shops Opens in World Golf
On November 20th, crowds of people came to watch the highly anticipated grand opening of the new Bass Pro Shops in St. Augustine. The store kicked off its celebration with live entertainment from country artist Tim Dugger and special appearances by The Roar, the Jaguars cheerleaders, and Jaxson de Ville. Visitors also had the chance to get autographs by well-known fishermen and win prizes.
This new 100,000 square-foot fishing center is located near World Golf Village and International Golf Parkway, joining Costco and Buc-ee’s. Bass Pro Shops is an outdoorsmen and women’s dream store as it carries a variety of gear for hunting, fishing, camping, boating, etc. Other than gear, the store also holds a 12,000 gallon tank full of all types of fish including largemouth bass, Florida gar, and bowfin, to name a few.
The opening night was dubbed “The Evening for Conservation.” For every dollar spent, 10% of the proceeds went to conservation groups and another 10% went to hurricane relief efforts. Additionally, for the next 3 days, there will be a giveaway for the first 100 customers each day, with the prize changing every day. Prizes include a Yeti water bottle, a Bass Pro Shops hat, and gift cards.
If you enjoy fishing or camping, make sure to check out Bass Pro Shops!
