DeSantis Introduces W.O.K.E. Act
Wednesday morning, Governor Ron DeSantis introduced the “Stop W.O.K.E. Act”, which will allow for parents to sue school districts if their children are taught critical race theory in school. He believes that critical race theory is “erasing history”, and thinks that it is more harmful than helpful. This act comes months after Florida banned critical race theory being taught in schools.
