Fatal Crash On I-95 in St. Johns County

The woman, a 63-year-old from Georgia, was driving down I-95 in St. Johns County with no seatbelt on when a semi-truck rear-ended her. This caused the woman to hit the median which flew her from her car. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. For the semi-driver, however, he went to the hospital facing minor injuries. I-95 was temporarily shut down for hours on Tuesday, but that has since been lifted. The crash is now under investigation by the highway patrol, who are asking witnesses of the crash to come forward and give anything that might help them further.
