Jaguars Stadium Renovations
The Jacksonville Jaguars have played their home games at TIAA Bank Field since 1995, which is around roughly 28 years. With high hopes for the future seasons, renovations for their home stadium are much needed. However, this project will take around 2 years, leaving the Jags with no home for a while. Mayor Curry stated that “Best-case scenario, I expect that the renovation will take two years, two seasons. And the team will have to play somewhere else,” Curry said on 1010. It is crucial for the Jags to renovate their stadium if they want to keep their franchise in Jacksonville. Team president, Mark Lamping states, “If we’re not confident there’s going to be a stadium solution in Jacksonville, we need to make sure there’s a stadium solution someplace else. The time is upon us.”
