Museum in St.Augustine

In the summer of 2022, a $3 million dollar mosquito museum will be opening in St. Johns County. It’s called the Vector Disease Education Center and Science Museum, and will be funded and operated by the Anastasia Mosquito control District of St. Johns County. The center will feature an insect themed playground, as well as games, live insects, microscopes, and interactive models and displays. Visitors will learn about the entire lifecycle of a mosquito as well as other insects including beetles and butterflies. This museum will be very child friendly and will educate people all about mosquitos, since we live in Florida.
