Shoeboxes of Love Donations
If you’re looking for a way to give back to your community, Shoeboxes of Love is the perfect charity to donate to during the season of Thanksgiving! Shoeboxes of Love is a charity through Jacksonville dedicated to donating to the homeless. Unfortunately, many individuals and families are out on the streets without a place to call home. The charity opened for donations on November 1st and it will run through November 25th. Donations don’t have to be any form of currency but instead can be simple self-care products, clothes, or essentials for the holidays! Don’t forget to pack donations in a shoebox, preferably wrapped in something soft like a blanket or towel. Locations taking donations are City Rescue Mission, Closets by Design, McGowan’s Heating and Air Conditioning and WJXT-Channel 4. Please donate during regular business hours.
