Snowing in Florida

It’s been unusually cold this winter. When a cold front came in on Tuesday, January 21,

2025, temperatures dropped down to freezing in St. Augustine, and it began to snow in

Tallahassee. Three inches of snow and sleet fell on the campus of Florida State

University. The last time the city saw this much snow was in 2018. Schools were closed in

many counties, and FSU was closed due to icy road conditions and harsh weather. This is

very unusual weather for Florida, but it should be warming up soon!
