St. Johns County Vaccinations

As of March 30, 2021, already 60,000, 25% of St Johns County residents, have been vaccinated against COVID-19 either with the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the two doses of the two-shot vaccines. This makes St. Johns county number two in the entire state of Florida for completion of vaccinations and top five in the state for residents receiving at least one vaccination. This widespread of vaccinations has been due to allowing almost all residents the opportunity to receive the vaccine. For instance, according to the St. Augustine record “Federal-run sites and pharmacies are offering vaccinations to pre-K-12 teachers regardless of age.” In addition, St. Johns County also has begun to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to residents of age 16 and older. Finally, the state of Florida has given a report that 3,204,377 residents have been fully vaccinated.
