Summer Academy Opportunities

  Over the summer, students have multiple different opportunities to further their involvements. Of these, the University of Florida is offering a summer camp focused on the Communication academy. Students would receive hands-on learning experience in reporting, anchoring, photojournalism, production, screenwriting, and much more. Those who attend will learn the basics of their desired elective, and learn further how to be successful in that field. Students would be spending a week in UF dorms, from June 22-27. This is open for rising 11th and 12th graders, however rising sophomores are welcome. This is a great opportunity for any students who want to pursue a career in a communication field.
