Taylor Swift is Named Time Person of the Year 

      Taylor Swift is continuing to shock the world as she is named Time Magazine’s person of the year. It all started when she was chosen to open for Kenney Chesney at 17. Discussing this opportunity, according to times.com, Swift says, “This was going to change my career.” She remembers, “I was so excited.” This story took a turn when she was too young to join Chesney’s tour, but Chesney made sure not to leave her with nothing. He gave her a check for more money than Swift had ever seen and was now able to fuel her dreams. Little did she know she would become the most renowned person in the world. Taking on the world with her Era’s Tour, Swift continues to shock everyone with recent music and content. Her fame doesn’t end here as she has high hopes the Grammy awards that will take place in early February.
