The Cheer team prepares for Nationals
The Nease high school cheer team is preparing for nationals. According to tv.varsity.com, Nease high school placed 8th at Nationals in Orlando last year. Many of the seniors on the team graduated however, leaving their Coach to hold tryouts for new team members. The cheer team competed in small group, the same as last year, and plans to improve their placing at the upcoming nationals. The girls on the team always preach about the power of friendship and team bonding. They’re always involved in volunteer activities or have team sleepovers in their free time, ultimately contributing to their performance. Many of these athletes mentioned having to wake up as early as 5 am to get to morning, and staying extra to condition to improve their placement and stunting skills.
