The Shining Stars of Nease

By Keeley Rissman

The annual Miss Nease pageant was hosted on March 28th in the Performing Arts Center where numerous junior ladies competed for the title of Miss Nease and other related awards. The girls showed their skills through their style, confidence, and talent, all in an attempt to prove they were the best representative of Nease High School. To be named Miss Nease is an incredible honor for Juniors at our school, as only one girl is nominated each year. This year Abbie Turner was nominated 2026-2027 Miss Nease. 1st runner-up, Best Interview, and Best Talent was awarded to Ansley Trivedi. 2nd runner-up and Best Style was named Faith Sanders. Special shoutouts go to Lena Asadi, who was named Miss Congeniality and Sophia Rebella, whose service project won People’s Choice.

Congratulations to all our talented Juniors who participated in Miss Nease this year. We are proud to call all of you Panthers.

Similarly, spinoff pageant Mr. Nease took place earlier in the year, and is a similar event hosted during the second semester. Will Gould was crowned Mr. Nease back in November and will hold this title until challenged next fall.

Stay tuned for future Miss and Mr. Nease Pageants!
