The Start of the NBA Season

The NBA season started on October 21st, with the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder in a heated overtime game which ended with the reigning champions, the Thunder, winning by one point. But let’s talk about the Florida teams, the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic. These two teams faced off for their first game of the season with the Orlando Magic winning 125-121 over the Miami Heat. The star players for the Magic were Franz Wagner and Pablo Banchero. Wagner had an outstanding record of 24 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds, and Banchero had an impressive 24 points, 1 assist, and 11 rebounds during the game. The two star players for the Heat were veteran Norman Powell, with an amazing 28 points, 4 assists, and 9 rebounds and Donovan Mitchell with 16 points, 12 assists, and 6 rebounds. These two teams’ rivalry is unmatched and has even been given the name “The Sunshine State rivalry”, given they are the only two Florida teams. Which Florida team do you root for?
