Who will be the new coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars?

By: Kate De La Torre

Liam Coen will be the next head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. He will be replacing Doug Pederson, who was fired on January 6. The reason for firing Pederson was that he couldn’t find the solution to solve the constant injuries occurring to the Jags defense. The constant uncertainty that came from Pederson was enough reason for the Jacksonville Jaguars team to fire him. The team thought Liam Coen would be the perfect replacement for head coach and he is expected to bring the Jags back into the fight. His past experience being the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ in the 2024 season, the Los Angeles Rams’ coordinator in 2022, and the University of Kentucky’s offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach in 2021 and 2023 seems to have been very appealing to the Jags and they decided to put him in the position to help the team get back on their feet. The team and the fans can’t wait to see what Coen has in store for the new season 2025 season! Tune into the season to watch Liam Coen’s anticipations of playing fast and smart come to life.
