Winter Drinks

By Brooke Loscalzo

As winter heads into its prime season with temperatures dropping and kids bundling up, there are so many winter drinks that have come out! Ranging in price, color, and size, winter drinks tend to be a fan favorite. Some of the drinks that have come out are Starbucks peppermint drinks (hot cocoa, lattes, frappuccinos, etc.). They also have snowman cookies and holiday-themed cake pops out as well. Starbucks isn’t the only one who has their holiday cheer aglow; Dunkin has their cookie butter latte and snowflake donut that tends to fly off shelves. As many know, those drinks can be expensive so there are cheaper alternatives too. Like Alani’s Christmas energy drink, or the very missed vanilla berry Red Bull. We asked students around Nease what their favorite drinks are. Student Maddy Hoffman, who always has a drink in her hand, shared her opinions about this year’s Christmas drink selection. She believes that Starbucks is on the expensive side, but the Caramel Brulée Frappuccino tastes good and gives Christmas vibes. On the cheaper side, however, Maddy says the winter wonderland Alani is her favorite.” Along with Maddy, many students can be seen with these drinks around the school. They tend to be in a Christmas cheer cup, like the ones from Starbucks which have a pattern in red and white around the cup. Alani also has a snowman on the cup that radiates holiday cheer. Now I can promise these drinks will put you in a Christmas mood full of joy! These are amazing fun pick-me-ups to get through long workdays and remind us that Christmas is right around the corner. These drinks are guaranteed to turn that frown upside down.
