Women’s National Basketball Association Draft
WNBA teams across the country expanded their teams on April 14th at the 2025 WNBA draft. Top picks like Paige Beuckers, Kiki Irafen, Aneesah Morrow and Hailey Van Lith were chosen along with many other phenomenal women. Uconn’s Paige Bueckers was the top pic for the Dallas Wings. Bueckers end her season with Uconn winning the national championship. In her four seasons at Uconn she averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.1 steals. During the NCAA tournament she had even better statistics with 24.8 points per game in the sweet 16 victory over Oklahoma.
