St. Augustine is honoring one of their former residents this week. Miss Carrie Johnson was a volunteer who worked in downtown Lincolnville, and is recognized for her commitments to helping locals in need. She ran the St Patrick’s Day parade in 2012, and in 2015 she was named as one of “The Record 10 who made a difference.” She also started The Miss Carrie Foundation of homeless students. The town had decided to rename Bravo Street in Miss Carrie’s honor. For others who are interested in knowing more about her you can head to the Lincolnville Museum.
