Covid Relief Bill Passed
In a 50-49, the Covid Relief bill was passed in the senate on Saturday. The house now passes the $1.9 trillion Covid bill too President Biden. The senate revised the original version passed by the house. The bill included $1,400 stimulus checks for individuals making under $75,000 a year and $2,800 to married couples who make less than $150,000 a year. The bill provides $300 a week in enhanced job benefits though September, 6th. Families with children who are five and under get an annual tax credit of $3,600 and families with children 6-17 get $3,000. President Biden plans to sign the bill Friday, March 12th.
