Fatal Shooting Outside bar In St. Augustine
Around 1:30 am on Friday May 29th, a man was shot and killed outside a bar in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. The shooting occurred on Hypolita street, outside a bar called Dos Gatos. The man who was shot and killed name was Adam Amoia. Amoia was a big part of the St. Augustine community and owned a few businesses including Romeos Café and The Standard. There were some witnesses at the time of the shooting, but nobody else was injured. The shooter is currently in custody and there is currently no other news on the situation. A vigil was held for Adam Amoia on Saturday night by his friends in St. Augustine, who said he was the “unofficial Mayor of St. Augustine”.
