Football Season has Returned!
If there is one thing all students agree on, it is that around the nation we have lucked out on various social events including football games, homecoming, and even aspects of graduation. Last school year, Nease High School students lost the opportunity to attend these exhilarating football games with band and color guard performances, the Pantherettes halftime show, and showing off school spirit with our peers. However, the new year brings new changes.
The 2021-2022 school year brings promise to our stadium. Students and parents can now attend our once treasured football games with minimal restrictions. Our football team began conditioning and training in Summer, and through this, we have started strong. Ending with a 14-7 finale, Nease High School faced off and defeated our infamous rivals, the Ponte Vedra sharks. Friday, September 3, included the 12th anniversary of our last victory against Ponte Vedra High.
This upcoming Friday, September 10th, our football team goes head to head against Orange Park, and our student section remains hopeful and enthusiastic towards the 2021-2022 season. Truly, football season has been missed.
