Poor Weather Influences Fuel Delays
Officials at Orlando International Airport share that bad weather has prevented the delivery of fuel to airports. Storms along the Gulf Coast are what caused the fuel delays to occur. Worries about whether or not a person’s flight will be delayed has happened to arise as a result of the fuel delays. However, the officials mentioned have also added that the delay only involves reserves and that the airport was not out of fuel. At least, not at the moment. Both the delay in fuel for reserves and the number of flights has strongly impacted the reserve supply, especially since it’s almost Christmas. Orlando International Airport is the busiest airport in Florida and the seventh busiest in the U.S. And as it is the month of Christmas, it’s known to be one of the busiest times of the year for Florida’s theme parks.
