The Jacksonville Jaguars Eliminated from Playoff

After the Jacksonville Jaguars loss to their divisional rival, the Houston Texan, they fell to 2-10; and after the Denver Broncos won their Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Vegas Raiders, the Jaguars were officially eliminated from playoff contention. Even though their season up to that point had been rough, they intended to make a final comeback run to hopefully earn a playoff spot.

However, while the team is out of the playoffs, the team is still trying to end the season on a positive note. Doug Pederson, the head coach of the Jaguars, expressed that “That’s up to me to make sure that these guys don’t throw in a towel, or wave the white flag. That’s on me to make sure that that doesn’t happen and I won’t let that happen. We have great leadership in that locker room, and I’ll lean on those guys to help me in that.”

Even if the Jags manage to win out the rest of their season, they will still have a losing record. The main benefit of this record is that they will receive a top draft pick this year that can potentially get the team back on track.
