2025 Playoffs: Divisional round

Last Saturday, the Houston Texans beat the Los Angeles Chargers with a score of 32 to 12. The Baltimore Ravens won over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a score of 28 to 14. Finally, the last game in AFC Wild-Card playoffs was the Buffalo Bills fighting off against the Denver Broncos. The score for that game was 31 to 7, with the bills claiming the victory. Last Sunday the NFC Wild-Card playoffs were getting under way. The matchups being the Green Bay Packers against the Eagles, and the Washington Commanders facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As you can see from the picture above the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs automatically advanced to the divisional playoff round. That is because those two teams are the number one seed of the NFC and AFC. Whatever teams are in the number one seed, they get the first-round bye. Which means they do not play in the playoffs until the next round. The first AFC game brings the Houston Texans to Kansas City Missouri, as the Chiefs host. The game is at 4:30pm this coming Saturday. You can find the game on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+. The first NFC Wild-Card game begins after the Chiefs and Houston’s game. The Washington Commanders travel to Detroit with hope of advancing to the NFC championship game. The Commanders and Lions game begins at 8pm Saturday night on FOX. The second NFC Wild-Card game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles starts this coming Sunday at 3pm. You can watch the game on Peacock, and NBC. Along with the second AFC game on Sunday at 6:30pm between the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills. You can watch that game after the Eagles game on CBS and Paramount+. Whichever two teams win in the AFC will advance one more week to the AFC Championship game. The same goes for the NFC. Finally, the two winners of the NFC, and AFC championships will advance to Super Bowl 59 In New Orleans Louisiana, on February 9th. With the game beginning at 6:30pm.
