Upcoming AP Exams

As we reach the middle of April, when most AP classes are entering the review portion of the year, students should be aware of the Advanced Placement exam schedule for the month of May. Exams begin on Monday, May 5th and will continue every school day at either 8:00 in the morning or 12:00 in the afternoon until May 16th. Each exam is scored by AP graders over the summer, with the lowest possible score being a 1 and the highest possible score being a 5. Students should make sure to study for these exams so they can receive credit and not have to take the same class in college.

To be prepared for your exam, be sure to check the AP Exam schedule on the College Board website for the date of your exam. When entering for your exam, turn off and leave your phone in the entrance room, bring Number 2 pencils, a calculator if needed, and water/snacks for breaks in between sections.  AP Exams usually range from two to three and a half hours long, so make sure to get good sleep the day before to prepare you for your long day.
