
Brighter Days Ahead: A Look into Ariana Grande’s Reflection of Love and Loss
On March 28th, Ariana Grande dropped her long awaited deluxe for Eternal Sunshine titled “Brighter Days Ahead”. The deluxe along with the short film by the same name, explores Grande’s musical journey from when the album was first released to a year later, charting her growth through her deep songwriting and portrayal of her heartbreak.
Eternal Sunshine, released March 8, 2024, went platinum with hit tracks like ’Yes, And?’ and ‘We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)’. Grande’s 8th studio album turns ”pain into music” with ”no happy endings” found according to Rolling Stone. Fans related to the album in hopes there would be more music coming from Grande soon, but due to her starring role in Wicked, her plans for music were pushed to the side. A year later, Grande teased Eternal Sunshine deluxe along with a brand-new short film. Fans were ecstatic and were even invited to early screenings of the short film to celebrate Grande’s newest project.
Fans raved about the project stating it was the most emotional album she made, and there are hopes for a tour soon.
