Scientists responsible for making the antibody treatments say they found therapies to help lessen the severity of covid symptoms. They are trying to get the FDA to classify it as a “passive vaccine”. The reason it has taken so long to come out with a vaccine is because it takes a long time to develop “monoclonal antibodies”. However, these treatments have a lot of advantages and are very fast acting. These antibody treatments can be used to protect people in nursing homes and from infections at home.
