Earth Day Event Being Held in St. Augustine
It has recently been announced that on Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a recycling event held by the city of St. Augustine at the Solid Waste Facility. This event gives our community a chance to do our part in protecting and preserving Earth. More specifically, oil and grease recycling is being highly encouraged, as it greatly impacts our state’s coastal ecosystem and wastewater system. Accepted items include but are not limited to paper, used oils, batteries, and outdated/broken electronic devices.
