Fall Activities

Jacksonville will be hosting a number of entertaining and festive fall events this year. Now that the fall season is upon us, here are some ideas for what to do.

The first and most obvious fall activity is going to a pumpkin patch. There are numerous locations around the city that host these, some of which including Southside Methodist Church and Celestial Farms. These are always fun locations to pick out pumpkins to carve for Halloween and to take pictures with friends.

There are also several scary events for those who enjoy a thrilling sensation. Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Orlando is the stereotypical example of this, but there is also an event similar to it that is right here in Jacksonville – “Spooktacular” at Jacksonville Zoo. This event ranges from activities like trick-or-treating to those that you could experience in Orlando during Halloween Horror Nights. Another thrilling experience is at the 13th Floor Haunted House in the Arlington area. Its past attendees have regarded it as one of the scariest stops in Jacksonville.
