Food Distribution in Jacksonville Organized by Farm Share and American Care

Food Share is a homegrown food bank located in Florida that distributes nutritious food to people in need. Farm Share is partnering with American Care, a medical center to provide high quality care to and services to those in need, to distribute food at an event to residents in Jacksonville. The event’s address is 500 McDuff Ave. South-Jacksonville, Fl 32254. The distribution will take place this Saturday, April 23rd from 8am until all the food and supplies have been distributed. Farm Share is looking for nonperishables and canned foods. News4Jax says, “This distribution event is estimated to feed more than 200 households”. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this will be a drive-thru only event. Participants must wear a mask and the News4Jax article recommends people, “arrive in a vehicle with a trunk or cargo bed”. This food giveaway will help so many families and residents in the jacksonville/Duval area, so we recommend all eligible people participate and give back to the community.
