Local Six-Year Old Publishes First Book
Ari Smith, a first grader at Biscayne Elementary School has written her first book. Her passion for and writing began when reading books with her dad at bedtime. The name of the book is Ari and Yoyo, she pitched the idea and said, “‘I want to write a book.’” Ari said to her dad. Ari’s main goal was to create a story with more people that “look like her.” Ari is currently already working on publishing another book.
