Nease Girls Soccer makes Districts Top 6  

     Every week, News4Jax comes out with a Power 6 ranking of sports teams in each district. This week, our Girls soccer team was ranked number 5 in the district after their big tie against Stanton, who is undefeated, on Tuesday night. They came up short in the first half 0-2, but after a big pep talk from the Coaches the girls came out fierce in the second half scoring 2 goals to tie the game. In addition to being ranked 5th in the district, they are ranked 2nd in 6A and 8th in the region. The leading goal scorer is currently Junior Jess Morley, who has racked up an amazing 9 goals and 7 assists, and Junior Isabel Bostic trailing just behind her with 8 goals. As the girls advance into week 5 they face tough opponents Sandalwood and Middleburg as they look to improve their rankings and a chance at districts.
