Nease NJROTC Sweeps the Competition at the Mandarin Highschool Drill Meet

After being named the number one ROTC academy in the nation in 2022, Nease’s NJROTC
continues to uphold its distinguished position. Another dominating performance at the Mandarin
Drill Meet this past MLK weekend resulted in the NJROTC being named first in the meet over
all along with 11 team event trophies. Among these achievements are individual
accomplishments that are listed as followed:

Zachary Servello – 1st overall in Academics
Samuel Lewis – 1st in Male Pushups (130 pushups total)
Nicholas Gallego – 2nd in Male Pushups (91 pushups total)
Emily Chang – 1st in Female Pushups (90 pushups total)
Hailey Pitches – 3rd in Female Pushups (72 pushups total)
Caden Byas – 1st in Male Sit-ups (331 sit-ups total)
Keegan Mapa – 3rd in Male Sit-ups (228 sit-ups total)
Emily Chang – 1st in Female Sit-ups (196 sit-ups total)
Rachael Trawdrous – 3rd in Female Sit-ups (180 sit-ups total)
