NEHS Book Drive

Nease’s National English Honors Society has been hosting a book drive over the course of two weeks, that began on February 26th, and will end on March 8th. All donated books will be given to organizations like Habitat for Humanity who will then distribute them to families. Reading books is a crucial component for building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and acquiring the knowledge needed to do well in school. NEHS is asking for “books that are not heavily annotated or in bad condition”. Additionally, the books will be given to children of all ages so children’s books and chapter books will be accepted and encouraged.  Books can be donated to B-Pod (look for a cardboard box outside of teachers’ doors). Please think about making a donation; even one book can have a positive impact on a child or teen’s life.
