With the 2024 NFL draft right around the corner, coaches are looking for the best possible additions to their team. The 2024 NFL combine was just held, making these decisions for coaches easier. In the NFL combine, defensive lineman and linebackers showed their skills on Thursday February 29th, tight ends followed on Friday, with the quarterbacks, wide-receivers, and running backs ending the combine on Saturday March 2nd. The combine consists of physical and mental tests performed by college athletes hoping to get drafted by an NFL team. The test that every player runs is the 40-yard dash. Texas wide0receiver Xavier Worthy set the all-time combine 40-yard dash record with a whopping 4.21. Many NFL coaches will take these results from the combine into consideration when making their draft picks for the upcoming NFL season.
