Inception is a thriller about Dom Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is one of the main characters in the thriller. Although he is a thief, he is not like other thieves.  He is able to enter people’s dreams and steal valuable information for him to take on and uses it in his plans later on. He might be able to do all this, but it’s all at a cost that he lost. He loses everything he loves, but gets a chance of redemption when he gets offered an impossible task. He must put an idea in someone’s head, and if he succeeds, then it could be the best crime he has ever done. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World starts out as a cheesy rom-com but develops into an over-the-top action movie when Scott Pilgrim, played by Michael Cera, has to fight seven evil ex-boyfriends of the girl he’s trying to date, Ramona, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and simultaneously breaks off his relationship with his current girlfriend, Knives, played by Ellen Wong. Director Edgar Wright demonstrates excellent cinematography with countless creative shots, transitions, and a grand absence of subtlety which reflects the original comic book attitude of the original series. Whiplash is a drama about Andrew Neiman, an ambitious young jazz drummer played by Miles Teller, and a terrifyingly intense instructor Terence Fletcher, played by JK Simmons. Terence recognizes Andrew’s ambition and puts him in the top jazz ensemble, but Terence’s obsession with perfection drives Andrew to the brink of insanity. Whiplash has spectacular performances from Miles Teller and JK Simmons, as well as some stunning moments in the movie that sets it apart from other dramas. The Lego Movie is an action packed film that includes Chris Pratt, who plays Emmet, which is the main character of the movie. Emmet is just a normal construction worker citizen who is always happy and energetic. Later on in the movie he finds a group of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil villain by the name of Lord Business, played by Will Ferrell. Emmet may seem like nothing but he will give it all he has to stop this villain from conquering the world. He manages to save the world from the crisis, but almost fails  after he is thrown into the void.
