Prince Phillip dies at the age of 99

Prince Phillip passed away at the age of 99 at Windsor Castle. Prior to Prince Phillips death he spent two months in the hospital where he got treated for an infection and underwent heart surgery. He was discharged in mid-March. The royal family has requested for residents of the UK to donate to a charity as opposed to placing flowers outside the royal palace due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Prince Phillip was dedicated to serving and even served in the British consort. The Prince was described as “cheeky right till the end” by his grandson Prince Harry. The flag at Buckingham Palace will remain at half-mask until the day of his funeral.
