The Annual Strawberry Festival is Local!
This weekend, the Annual Strawberry Festival will be held at the Clay County Fairground in Green Cove Springs. The Strawberry Festival was started back in 1930 by the Plant City Lions Club to celebrate the strawberry harvest. This year’s festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 6th and 7th from 10am-5pm.
There will be arts and crafts, food, face painting, pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and more. Admission is $6.00, and kids 2 and under get in free. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity.
