The Brand New High School

In order to relieve the overcrowding at Nease High School and Bartram Trail High School, the new school Tocoi Creek High School aims to do as such. Bartram Trail currently has 3,084 students with the anticipated capacity of 1,946 students, and Nease presently has over 3,000 students yet over the intended amount of 2,049 students. This will as a result, impact the students currently at Nease and Bartram as well as the middle schools in the area such as Fruit Cove Middle School, Liberty Pines Academy, Pacetti Bay Middle School, Switzerland Point Middle School, and Alice B. Landrum Middle School. The school will include students from grades 9th to 12th with five separate buildings surrounding the courtyard including the main three-story classroom building. Every floor will include a collaborative space for project-based instruction and learning. The school plans to have approximately 1,281 students on their opening day in the upcoming August and plan to increase the enrollment number over the course of the next two years.
