Veteran Sportsman joins the Nease family
Charles Gomes has been named the new athletic director for Nease High School. Gomes was previously the athletic director at the College of Staten Island and has a substantial resume. He has previously worked for the NFL foundation and the College Hall of Fame “Play it Smart” foundation. Gomes says he’s excited for the opportunity and sees many similarities between College of Staten Island and Nease. Gomes is also excited to be around his daughters Sydney and Savannah (juniors), who attend Nease. His daughters are also part of the girls Nease basketball program. Gomes says, “It’s a great fit for me, knowing the history of the school. Looking forward to it.”
