Want to See a Total Solar Eclipse? Delta is Offering a Special Flight Just for You

   For the first time in 20 years, North America will experience a total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024. According to NASA, a total solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth, completely blocking the front of the sun. Delta Airlines took this as an opportunity to give passengers a front-row view along the path of totality. More specifically, where the Earth falls in the center of the moon’s shadow during an eclipse. The flight departs from Austin at 12:15 p.m. CT and lands in Detroit at 4:20 p.m. ET. The flight is $1,129 and can be purchased through the Delta website.
