Boys LAX: Nease v.s. Fletcher

The scoreboard read 10-8 as the whistle blew. The game between Nease and Fletcher felt much closer than the numbers showed. Players fought for every ground ball from the start of the draw as the boys tussled on the ground. Brody Gotham was unstoppable, he moved though defenders like they weren’t even there. He scored goal after goal, by halftime he already had four. Every time Nease needed a spark Brody was there to show up, having some assist from his younger brother Madox Gotham. Brody had finished the game with six goals keeping Nease in the lead the entire game.  

Brody’s brother, Madox had his own moments too. Late in the game, Madox dodged hard around defenders and buried the ball in the back of the net. Nease never backed down throughout the whole game and without the Gotham brother we may not have won. This was such an important game in the season and made it all so memorable for the seniors.
