Along with the heavy wind and rain Northeast Florida was subjected to yesterday, a tornado swept through the World Golf Village area.

A 15-year-old First Coast High School student has been arrested and charged with making a hoax bomb threat. Marquis Battle is accused of making the call to 911 right before 10 a.m. on Dec. 9. According to the report, Battle said, “I’m going to blow up First Coast High School,”. Police said that the school was alerted and searched but no device was found. A teacher there told the school officials that she knew who made the call and pointed out Marquis. She said he had come into her classroom, asked if he could stay, and then talked to her. Unfortunately, what Battle said to the teacher was not included…

Nease’s National English Honors Society has been hosting a book drive over the course of two weeks, that began on February 26th, and will end on March 8th.

In the next year, Panera Bread is rumored to add 9 new entrees to their menu.

Over the spring break, our NJROTC Orienteering team will be competing at Nationals in Raleigh, North Carolina.

On Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, Nease will be opening up the gymnasium from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for students to attend the Career & Technical Fair.
