    Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis Attended Event at Nease to Announce Launch of New Mental Health Initiative.     Girl’s B-Ball Slam-Dunks to States

It is a donation-based club that works to help dogs in need.     Cover photo credit: Signature Reads National Honor Society is hosting a book drive for the students of Southwoods Elementary (a title 1 school in the south end of our county, meaning that many of its students come from low-income families).  Many of those students have no access to books in their homes or libraries, so we would like to put a book in each student’s hands for the summer! We are trying to collect more than 400 picture books and more than 300 elementary-level chapter books. This book drive is open to everyone here at Nease and students will be awarded service hours for donating.  1 hour will be awarded for donating…

    Nease Homecoming 2017

    By: Victoria (Publisher) Homecoming is right around the corner this school year on Saturday, September 23rd. The homecoming football game will be held Friday, September 22nd against Creekside at Nease. The dance this year is being held in our very own gym. The tickets will be on sale starting Monday, September 18th in Ms. Gruhn’s room (Portable 24) 8-8:30am before school, after school, or during excel time in front of the PAC until Friday, September 22nd. They are being sold for $15 dollars a ticket, a student can only buy up to two tickets! The attire is formal: homecoming dresses for girls and a shirt and tie for the guys.…
