Derek’s Chauvin’s trial may be Delayed

The trial of former police officer, Derek Chauvin, may be delayed past the original trial date on Monday. The news comes after the Minnesota court of appeals considers whether to charge Derek Chauvin with a third-degree murder charge. This may be added to existing second degree murder and manslaughter charges presented towards the Officer, who on May 25^th 2020 killed George Floyd, an African America male, sparked nationwide protests and conversations regarding police brutality and systematic racism towards minorities.
