Human Trafficking Awareness Night
On February 28th, the Nease Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Club is hosting a night to draw attention and productive discussion about the horrors of human trafficking. Knowledgeable guest speakers like a St. Johns’s county police officer, and members of the O.U.R (Operation Underground Railroad) will be speaking on the topic. Bringing attention to this issue is essential to helping an end to the capturing and selling of an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 men, women, and children that are trafficked yearly.
Food and drinks are provided for those who are present, but make sure to bring cash for the bake sale. Remember to attend the event from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm in a couple of weeks to support the Nease Club and a relevant issue.
