A 15-year-old First Coast High School student has been arrested and charged with making a hoax bomb threat. Marquis Battle is accused of making the call to 911 right before 10 a.m. on Dec. 9. According to the report, Battle said, “I’m going to blow up First Coast High School,”. Police said that the school was alerted and searched but no device was found. A teacher there told the school officials that she knew who made the call and pointed out Marquis. She said he had come into her classroom, asked if he could stay, and then talked to her. Nease ACT Coming Up Soon
The ACT is coming up for juniors on March 26th, 2024. 11th graders can take the College Reportable exam which benefits students going along the college path. The March 16th ACT has no cost and is held at Nease. The ACT will start at 9:20 am and end at 1:30 pm. There are 4 sections of the test with students getting a break in between. Students can bring snacks, water bottles, and other test materials. After the test, students will be able to leave campus with a signed parent note. If you do not have a note, you will go to your 7th period class after the lunch break appointed…

A Night in an Enchanted Forest!
This year, Nease’s prom theme will be enchanted forest. The prom will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19th, at World Golf Village Renaissance, 500 South Legacy Trail. Some ideas to match this year’s theme can include greens, purples, greys, and pinks, or anything you like! This should be a magical unforgettable night, as it is prom!!!
