St. Johns County Academy Applications Open Soon!

Career Academies are a big part of what makes St. Johns County so unique in relation to other nearby school districts. These special programs offer students early experience in prospective career fields, ranging anywhere from news production to culinary arts. Rising 9th and 10th graders are eligible to apply for up to 3 career academies starting on January 4th, and the High School showcase—where students can meet current academy members—is set to take place on December 13th from 3:30 to 7:00pm at the World Golf Village Convention Center. “Students can learn about all the programs available at each high school. In our district, a student can apply to any Academy or Program they are interested in at any school. However, if that Program of Interest or Academy is offered at their zoned school, students must apply to the program offered at their zoned school,” says Mrs. Kunze. Whatever you’re after, the Career Academy Program has something to offer.
